We’ve ripped apart each magazine and scoured every blog. We’ve dug deep into our mother’s medicine cabinets and dived down the deepest of Instagram holes. All this to bring you a curated selection of products, ranging from the time-tested favourites that have been passed down through generations to the cutting-edge miracles that you haven’t heard of yet.

About India

India bought her first makeup kit from Walmart when she was ten years old. She proceeded to give makeovers to anyone and everyone who would let her. She then learned how to make lip gloss by melting petroleum jelly with eye shadow, which she packaged and sold to her “clients”. While a cosmetics empire didn’t exactly blossom, her love for all things beauty definitely did.

Fast-forward to a few years, India enrolled in Blanche Macdonald’s part-time makeup artistry program while she was pursuing her Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She took her formal education in paint and pencil and applied it to concealer and liquid liner.
